Fifth Fast Story Mimicking Brilliance 

 

To think I’ve just shitted out all four of these ditties

 

just slapped them all together with my own small hands

 

makes me stand back and have another beer because

 

the dirty little secret is I love love love the Steve Miller

 

Band they are just good time music you know oh that

 

and The Smiths can’t forget The Smiths it’s really the

 

combination of a couple of these sensibilities that shape

 

what I’m doing the project I’m endeavoring wherein I

 

listen to songs OK try to follow this I listen to music and

 

then transcribe my thoughts just transcribe them and

 

what will result I am fairly sure is a kind of sort of stream

 

of poetic jizz and it will be raw and sort of non-narrative

 

in a way sort of non-lyrical and post-queer anyway I can’t

 

really describe the project but I’m listening to that mellow

 

song Wild Mountain Honey do you know that one Wild

 

Mountain Honey it’s like synthesizer before Duran Duran

 

and it’s mellow and I listen to it when I’m in my office

 

between my classes and when I’m putting my words into

 

envelopes of people I really really know and respect they

 

should know I do that when I send them stuff I’ll tell them
